Sanctuary Software Launches Office in Colombia

Starting on July 1, 2023, Sanctuary Software Studio, Inc. launches its first international office in Medellin, Colombia. While the company formed in 2022, the team diligently worked on setting up operations and coordinating with partners over the past ten months.

Sanctuary Software de Colombia, SAS

Sanctuary Software de Colombia, SAS (SSDC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sanctuary Software Studio, Inc. (SANCSOFT) and is fully licensed for operating in Colombia. SSDC provides rapid scaling to support SANCSOFT taking on larger scale and longer duration projects. SSDC is able to draw from the large and growing local pool of developer talent in one of Latin America’s premier digital destinations.

SSDC’s permanent position in Medellin provides better connectivity and communication with current project partners Turning Mode and Bioinnova, and ties SANCSOFT into an emerging digital hub. The city is home to dozens of startups and has attracted over 400 companies from 32 countries as a Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR).

Management Team

Michael Terry, President, Sanctuary Software Studio, Inc, is heading up the new office and leading the technical team. Monica Quintero, Managing Partner, Yellowkey Capital, is a Legal Representative and manages operations in Colombia. Monica brings more than a decade of experience in international business and native understanding of the local market to operations. Legal support is being provided by CMC Abogados, a Medellin law firm focused on establishing businesses in Colombia.

Technical Team

SSDC has partnered with Michael Page to identify and recruit top talent from across Colombia. The initial group of four developers focuses on expanding the team for development of cloud-based software applications using Microsoft .NET and Angular. All developers contract in full-time positions of indefinite duration.

SSDC expects to grow the development team to ten full-time developers by the end of 2024. In addition, SSDC plans to add technical staff with specialty skills including web implementation, search engine optimization, and technical support in the coming months.
